Big blue eyes

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

The first time I “met” Sylvie she was kicking her mom’s belly to let everybody know that she was ready to join this beautiful world. A few days ago she turned 8 months and to capture her story Erica and Pierre scheduled a photo shoot with us. Early riser, we met at Royal West Indies at 7:00 AM… it wasn’t a smiling day for Sylvie but she is so adorable that every expression is priceless. (more…)

Back to the islands

The world is big and wonderful, every corner deserve to be explored… but if you really like a particular spot, why shouldn’t you come back for a second trip?!? I met the Patterson family a couple of years ago and I was really happy to know I would have the chance to spend a little more time with them.

Everybody looked pretty much the same, exception done for the girls’ legs – they get longer every year! Cherry on the cake, Spencer, Chelsea’s boyfriend, joined the family for a wonderful vacation. (more…)

The Jordan Family at Grace Bay Estates.

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Kim and Kirby brought the whole family down for a lovely vacation last week at the Grace Bay Estates – Kurt, Kacey, Kristen and new son-in-law Collin.

On a beautiful Turks and Caicos evening we walked around the resort and then onto the beach to create a few family group pictures and some individuals of the kids too. Simple and easy…

Sophie and Olivia

Monday, August 16th, 2010

Kids are simply amazing: every moment spend with them is so special and every expression is so unique that it’s simply impossible to stop taking pictures. They laugh, they cry, they play, they cuddle and, always, they have the incredible power to fill with wonder the world.

Spending an hour with Sophie, Olivia and the rest of the family was a real pleasure… it’s so easy: let them do whatever they want and be ready to shoot. (more…)

Three’s company

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

Whilst the majority of the work we do is for the tourists that visit the Turks and Caicos islands we are also delighted to help local families that live in TCI with their special family moments.

We were able to pick a wonderful evening for a family photo shoot with Pamela and her two great kids Deandreir and Darius.

The lovely Wilson family.

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

It was was totally by chance that I happened to be at the Somerset resort one evening for commercial photo shoot and met the Wilson family and arranged a family portrait for a couple of days later.

Whilst we often hear from families that they want to wait a few days after they arrive “to get a little color” or tan, I think the Wilson family don’t have that problem!

Five years of coming to provo..

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

It’s always great to meet people for the first time and to hear their stories of how they picked Turks and Caicos, or the reason for the trip. In Beth and Jonathan’s case this is there fifth trip to Turks and Caicos and each time they have also stayed at Ocean Club West as they love it’s low key vibe, family friendly nature and central location.

The goal this trip was to capture some great moments together and lots of pictures of Caroline (4) in particular..

Every cloud has a silver lining..

We had a LOT of rain last week. TS Bonnie moved through the Turks and Caicos and Bahamas – well actually it was just a storm as it went by us, but it did make the news in the USA as it headed to the Gulf.

Anyway, we had to postpone the Parent family’s photo shoot by 24hrs to let the weather go by but as a result we were blessed to get some beautiful soft light to work with..

A beautiful morning in Turks and Caicos.

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Sunset and the beach is a big “draw” for a lot of our photo shoots – hence why the vast majority are late in the day – just before sunset.

Earlier this week though a rough boat ride during an island excursion delayed the Ford family’s shoot until the following morning. With a beautiful morning, strong colors and eye popping blue ocean – it was actually a GREAT thing!

With  grandparents, two families and a flight to catch later in the day..time to get moving..

We are family…

Family reunions are so important… the little ones grow fast and the older ones get a little younger every time they get the chance to play with the new generations. Kellie and I had the pleasure to spend some time with the Sundstrom family and capture some beautiful images to make their vacation at The Regent Grand unforgettable.
