How do we make a reservation?

Just call Kellie on (649) 946 4059. She can tell you all about our session options, and answer any questions you may have. Or you can email her – kellie@brilliant.tc. Full payment for the session is required to confirm your date and time on our calendar.

When is the best time of day for a photo shoot?

Studio sessions (available from January 2010 when our new building will be open) can be done anytime. For location sessions we advise timing the shoot either for early in the morning, or during the hour before sunset. It’s cooler, the light is softer and more directional, and your kids won’t get so hot. But it’s whatever works best  for you – our Water Escape (which includes a boat trip) is popular too – out on the ocean there’s a breeze to keep you cool.

What should we wear?

It’s your call – some folks like to have everyone matching – but that can sometimes make your family look a bit like a football team! The main thing we suggest is to avoid clothes with strong patterns – simple solid colors are usually best. But that doesn’t mean you need to wear white and khaki -  plain colors like aqua and red work well too. The most important thing is to be in comfortable clothes that can withstand getting sandy and wet – we’re going to have you running around and having a good time, so we don’t want you worrying about getting your best things messed up!

Are there packages available?

Absolutely! You can read about them here on our website, or call/email and we will be happy to send you our information pack. We have packages both for the photo or video sessions themselves, and also great-value packages that give you savings on prints, albums, digital files, or a combination.

How do we see our pictures?

After the session, we will spend some time editing the images – taking out duplicate images and any that have technical imperfections – but you’ll still have plenty to choose from! Except at really busy times of year we can usually do this within a couple of days, so your photographer will arrange a time for you to come in to our viewing room and see the pictures on our big TV! At the viewing we’ll also have some great ideas for you about how you can use your images – whether it’s preserving them in an album, getting some enlargements for the wall, canvas wraps and art prints, or a DVD slideshow or online movie.

We will also put your images online in a password-protected gallery – our packages generally include a print credit which is valid for two weeks from when the images go online, so you don’t absolutely have to make your final choice at the viewing.

We don’t live in Turks & Caicos – are there extra charges to ship prints etc to us?

No – we have arrangements for shipping with our professional photo-lab and album manufacturers in the the USA – prints and albums will usually be delivered direct to your door by UPS or FedEx. We have a flat-rate $10 shipping charge for print orders, regardless of size or quantity. Album prices are inclusive of shipping. For Turks & Caicos residents we have our own printing facility right here, so print sizes up to 24″ x 36″ can be made locally, saving you shipping and import duty. The only items that may incur FedEx charges are things that we have to send from here, such as digital files on disk – but we’ll notify you of that if it arises.
