The roof has arrived!

On my way to work this morning, I noticed that towering over the building site for the new studio was a large mobile crane… Sure enough, this signaled that the roof trusses were being raised into position, the first stage of building the roof. Although I drive by the construction site every day on my way to and from work, I haven’t had a chance in the last couple of weeks to go on-site and see how things were going; until today… basically they are going great! What a difference a week makes.

The site of the new greenbuild studio is on my drive to work (all 8 mins of it!) and out of the corner of my eye as I have been driving along I’ve seen the progress this week as the concrete block has arrived and some pipes and rebar seemingly are popping up above the building hoarding.
